AFB Virtual Seminar: Understanding the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive

This virtual seminar hosted by EY will provide members with an update on the implementation requirements of the EU’s Directive on Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

The session will first provide a recap of the timeline, legal entity scoping and key concepts of the CSRD focusing on how the CSRD will impact non-UK banks operating in the UK.

The session will then look at how a typical programme can achieve compliance with the CSRD, utilising a combination of initial assessment, implementation procedures and disclosures.

The team at EY will also give an insight into how financial services firms are progressing based on EY’s market benchmarking on CSRD mobilisation. They will also comment on the key challenges surrounding CSRD and how they are being tackled by firms.

Who should attend?

This seminar will be beneficial to those working within Finance, Risk, Compliance and Legal functions.
