Cyber Crime (Data protection/security, how to protect yourself and identify a problem)

With the trend towards outsourcing and cloud computing remaining, this seminar seeks to highlight some of the most commonly exploited technology surfaces. This virtual seminar will look at the regulatory environment including Operational Resilience, some best practices to protect your environment, as well as protection from third-party providers which are increasingly being targeted by malicious actors.

The AFB is delighted to partner with Cybersel UK Ltd, cyber risk management experts who will help foreign banks protect themselves from the increasing threat of cyber-attacks and where managed services remain an option for security monitoring.

Why attend?

Cybersel will provide a recap on the regulatory perspective and discuss:

  •        How to protect against financial fraud and data leaks
  •        How to identify weaknesses in their internal attack surfaces
  •        How to strengthen third-party monitoring

What will participants implement Back@Bank?

  •        Identify priorities in testing and monitoring your own environment
  •        Establish priorities for managing risk in your supply-chain
  •        A better understanding of how technology can be deployed to help

Who should attend?

This seminar is aimed at executives and practitioners who have responsibility for defining their bank’s approach to operational resilience. These will typically be Chief Operating Officers, business risk and control leads, business continuity leads, operations managers, as well as risk audit professionals charged with oversight and challenge of approaches and IT professionals especially those overlooking Cyber and Network security.
