Green and Sustainable Finance Certificate

The Certificate in Green and Sustainable Finance is a globally recognised qualification designed to equip finance professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to support the transition to a more sustainable, inclusive and low-carbon economy. It provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles, practices and application of green and sustainable finance across the financial services sector.

Suitable for professionals working across banking, investment, insurance and wider financial services, the programme explores the science of climate change, sustainable finance principles, regulatory developments, sustainable financial products and services, climate and environmental risk, and the role of financial institutions in supporting sustainable economic growth.

The course includes:

• Flexible, guided online self-study supported by interactive e-learning resources, case studies, knowledge checks and examination preparation materials
• Study at your own pace over a 12-month registration period
• A 90-minute remotely invigilated online examination
• Annual membership of The Chartered Banker Institute, with the first year’s subscription of £45 included in the course fee
• Successful learners will receive a digital certificate and be entitled to use the professional designation GSFP (Green and Sustainable Finance Professional)
