AFB Virtual Seminar: UK Economic Outlook – Post-Budget Assessment

AFB will hold a virtual seminar focussed on the economic outlook for the UK for the remainder of 2024 and looking to 2025.  Members will hear from Philip Shaw, Chief Economist at Investec UK. Philip will also give his views on the impact of the budget and respond to questions.

This follows our successful virtual seminar on the UK economic outlook given in January 2024. As we move towards the end of 2024, economies across the world are coping with political change, inflation and war. In the session, Investec will reflect on current events and their impact on the UK economy and how international banks might be affected.

Why attend?

This virtual seminar will provide members with an expert assessment of the prospects for the UK economy going into 2025. As well as hearing from an expert, members will have the opportunity to ask specific questions to help with their business planning for 2025.

Who should attend?

This session is aimed at those who focus on Business issues within member firms and given the nature of the topic, it is likely to be of interest to other roles and functions such as Risk, Finance, Legal, Operations and Compliance.
