AFB members from internal audit functions are invited to attend an in-person roundtable discussion on BCBS 239 (The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, Principles for effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting (RDARR)).
The roundtable, in partnership with EY, will consider the key principles of RDARR and the difference between the ECB’s and PRA’s expectations for adherence to BCBS 239 and the broader RDARR guidance. The roundtable will also highlight the ECB’s key areas of concern and expectations for banks.
Why attend?
With BCBS 239 getting renewed attention and the regulatory expectations rising rapidly, this facilitated discussion will provide an awareness of the key areas where internal audit can provide value, when undertaking BCBS 239 reviews. The discussion will also include insights into some of the thematic feedback from on-site inspections (OSIs) conducted by the ECB.
AFB will circulate an agenda and a series of questions to attendees in advance which will be used to aid discussions.
The Chatham House Rule will apply to this event to encourage open dialogue and discussion.
There will be refreshments and networking from 08:30 before the roundtable discussion commences at 09:00.
Please note that capacity for the roundtable is limited to 30 members and one person per member bank.
Who should attend?
Internal audit teams of AFB member banks.
