AFB Seminar: Fraud and Asset Tracing

Fraud disputes are on the rise and banks are particularly vulnerable to rogue actors, who often use them as a conduit for fraudulent transactions.

This AFB session, in partnership with DLA Piper will cover the current types of fraudulent behaviour and fraud disputes trending in the financial sector. It will also outline practical steps that banks should take in the wake of identifying fraud and/or when responding to suspected fraud or recovering misappropriated assets.

Why attend?

Speakers will share recent case insights, common challenges banks face when dealing with complex frauds, and effective strategies for collaborating with legal advisers and enforcement authorities for the successful preservation and recovery of assets.

The session will offer an opportunity to gain practical guidance, stay ahead of emerging fraud risks, and strengthen responses to financial crime.

Who should attend?

Members working in the legal, compliance and risk functions.
