AFB Seminar: Basel 3.1: Implementation of Phase 2 Rules – Disclosure and Reporting Requirements

On 12 September 2024, the PRA published its Policy Statement on Basel 3.1 Phase 2 near-final rules, which apply to all banks and building societies. These rules are due to come into force on 1 July 2025.

AFB will partner with MHA for an in-person seminar that will focus on the disclosure and regulatory reporting changes set out in Basel 3.1, as well as the changes to the Pillar 3 framework and the challenges that come with complex implementation requirements in Risk, Finance, technology/infrastructure, and bank-wide governance arrangements.

Why attend?

Small and medium-sized financial institutions will need to address several areas to adhere to the new Basel 3.1 standards. One of the key areas of implementation includes ensuring reporting and disclosure requirements are met. Attendees will learn the significance of the changed reporting regulations to support them in meeting the implementation deadline of 1 July 2025.

Who should attend?

This briefing is aimed at Business, Treasury/Finance, Risk and Compliance teams.
