AFB Seminar: Transfer Pricing Requirements for Non-UK Banks

Grant Thornton is running a series of tax seminars for AFB members in 2025.  This is the first in-person session in the series, which will cover transfer pricing requirements and specifically the impact of the rules on non-UK banks operating in the UK.

Why attend?

Multinational corporations (such as AFB members) are permitted to use the transfer pricing methods to allocate earnings among their subsidiary and affiliate companies and branches that are part of the parent organisation.  This session will help AFB members to understand the UK rules on the use of transfer pricing, how those rules can be applied and the transfer pricing documentation requirements that non-UK banks need to comply with in the UK.

The seminar will provide an overview of the UK transfer pricing rules and how they apply to non-UK banks operating in the UK; key areas of tax authority challenge from a transfer pricing perspective; the UK transfer pricing documentation regime and the transfer pricing processes and governance.

Who should attend?

This session is aimed at those working in Finance and Tax departments.
