AFB’s Annual General Meeting 2024

We hope that as many member banks as possible will attend the AGM – at which the AFB Chair, Bill Smith, will present his review of the past year and AFB’s Chief Executive, Giles French, will outline the findings from the Strategic Review undertaken at the end of 2023.  The formal notice for the AGM will be shared in early May.

After 10 years serving on the AFB Board and 6 years as AFB’s Chair, Bill Smith will step down at this AGM. As a thank you for all his hard work and support over the years, we will hold a drinks and networking reception following the AGM. We hope that you will be able to join us for this well-deserved celebration.

Papers for the AGM

Papers for the AGM will be issued not later than one week before the meeting and will include:

• Minutes of the AGM of the Association of Foreign Banks held on 15 June 2023
• The Association’s Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year to 31 December 2023 which can be viewed here.
